Since then, the Department has hosted the growth of many Transylvanian leading geographers (Ion Mac, Victor Sorocovschi, Nicolae Ciang\u0103, Wilfried Schreiber, Ion Popescu Arge\u015fel, Maria C\u0103linescu, Aurel Maier, Petru Dan Idu, Jozsef Benedek).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the more recent years, the Geography Department has expanded its field of research.
